::My (other) cousin is officially engaged::

So, on a personal note, I was asked by my cousin to be there the night he asked his girlfriend to be his bride.  I wouldn't have missed it.  She had no idea my accomplice and I were there.  I felt a bit like the paparazzi.  When he got on one knee...we were all in tears.

Congratulations, guys:)  Lots of love and blessings to you both!

::Holiday Galleries Will Remain::

I know so many of you are not only making personal decisions on print orders, but sorting out all your personal Christmas gift giving, too.  So, I've decided that all of you who had Holiday sessions with me will continue to have gallery access until the end of January.

My poor wedding clients...the Holiday season hit and so they've had to be a bit patient with me.  I hope these are worth the wait and there are so many more.  I've decided it's a great opportunity to showcase some color work, too.

::WEBSITE DOWN::

No, I haven't changed my website.  I haven't closed shop.   The site is just temporarily down.  Apparently, it will be back up tomorrow (Tuesday).  I'm crossing my fingers they're right.

::While Proofing::

Movies I watched today while editing:

1.  Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant's Bringing Up Baby.  One of my favorite movies. Super charming...witty dialog...a leopard named Baby...what's not to love.  Huge Katerine Hepburn fan and well, Cary Grant...c'mon.

2. M. Night Shyamalan's Lady in the Water.  It is actually the first time I've ever watched it.  Although I am a fan of his. I loved The Village.  I refused to watch Lady In The Water when it came out because I just didn't want to see while it was in the midst of all the "it sucks" criticism.  So tonight I finally pushed play and well...I have no idea what it might say about me, but I loved it.  I really did.

Maybe it means I love a good fairytale...themes about faith and finding purpose.  Or, maybe it just means I have a strange taste in movies.

Anyway, this is from the session I'm finishing up.  She picked it up and of course I asked her to hold it just a little bit longer.  Hope Mom buys this one big.
